Dating A Shy Girl
Hey my fellow dudes welcome back! If you’re curious about dating a shy girl, don’t worry. I gotchu. You already know me since day one. All the comments you’ve been posting, I’ve been reading and replying back. And I’m still uploading every week. Just a disclaimer here, I have zero experience being a girl nor being a shy girl but that doesn’t mean I can’t go out into this world and start gathering all my female counterparts who are shy and start interrogating them one by one and then come back and compile a list and share it on the internet.
So if you want, you can still stick around and see what I came up with. And if I messed up or say something, you can rip me apart slowly on the comment section but can you be nice about it though because I still have feelings too. So, here’s a list of my analysis after gathering 6 different shy girls off the streets. I mean they aren’t homeless or anything they were just there.
1. Forget the eye contact
If you’re dating a shy girl, she won’t be able to make solid eye contact with you because it’ll make her nervous. Just thinking about making eye contact gives her anxiety. If you think this could be a problem in the long run, an easy fix would be to wear a pair of sunglasses whenever you guys hang out.
2. She’s probably more independent than you
She probably knows what she wants in life and doesn’t need to be with someone all the time. If she wants to make something happen, she’ll make it happen. If you’re not on her level, yet, then get on her level because the last thing she wants is someone who can’t make their own food.
3. She loves her “me” time
You already know that big social hangouts aren’t really her thing and talking to random people won’t help either. If you guys ended up together, it’s probably through telepathy. But even the slightly social interaction could be draining so she’ll need to recharge at the end of the day so don’t go bothering her while she reading her favorite book. If you’re interested to know, here’s how to tell if a shy girl likes you.
4. It’ll take some time for her to open up
You already know she doesn’t talk much and she is more on the reserve side so don’t go in and start attacking her with personal questions. Slow things down. Make her feel comfortable around you and start trusting her so she can trust you. Once you’re able to do that, then she’ll start opening up to you. It’ll take some time to get to know her better, and it’ll totally be worth it at the end.
5. So you want to introduce her to your family and friends?
This is great! But you should do it group by group or one at a time. Don’t throw a huge party and expect her to interact with everyone and know all of their names. It’s frustrating and it’ll definitely freak her out. And if you think she doesn’t like your family or friends, you’re probably wrong. She just hasn’t got around to truly know them, yet. So don’t worry about that.
6. She’s a great listener
Oh you have problems and want to vent. Worry no more because she’ll be there to listen. She’ll love to listen to you talk and talk and the more you talk, the stronger you’ll bond together. It sounds weird but hey puzzles are weird, but some pieces fit nicely together. So yeah…
7. She low-key likes going out
But only with her outgoing best friends. You might think shy girls don’t have crazy friends, well, think again because they have at least one. But you already know that if she goes out, she’ll stick with her friends like glue because you know stranger danger. And her friends will remind her that it’s okay to loosen up once in a while and try new things and that’s why she likes it.
8. She’s selfless
She’s not the selfish type or the one who seeks attention. She cares about people especially the one she’s with. So, if she cares for you, you should probably do the same in return.
9. She’s probably smarter than you
Shy girls do a lot of listening so you could probably bet she’s listening in class. If she’s smarter than you, you should probably get up to her level as well. Just getting by with that 3.0 GPA won’t cut it anymore. Better get that 4.0 or higher with honor roll. I’m just saying.
10. Shy girls are cute
You already know this if you’re dating one. I mean it can be physical if you want, but I’m not talking about physical beauty. The way she behaves and act is cute. The way she blushes is cute. The way she smiles is cute. The way she brushes her hair away from her face is cute. And overall the romantic things she planned or talked about with you is pretty cute. You know you’re probably attracted to her in the first place because she is shy and that’s part of her personality and probably why she’s just overall cute in general.
Overall, when a shy girl does fall for you, just know that she’ll give her your best to be with you. She’ll be honest and straightforward. She’s not going to emotionally hurt you and play these mind games because she cares. And if you like someone like that, make sure you do your best to keep her.
